A fantasy animal card for a gothic or mythological beast lover, this rectangular MONKADILLO card is blank inside and features an imaginary animal mosaic design on the front.

* DESIGN DETAILS: a reproduction from an original handmade mosaic inspired by an image in the Luttrell Psalter, this imaginary being is made from wastage from my sister-in-laws ceramics. According to the BBC, academics believe that at the time when the Luttrel Psalter was written & illustrated, beer was the common drink of the day. This beer was often made from rye which was infested with the ergot fungus, which had mind altering properties... hence the strange animal illustrations.
