Garden Art
Wall Panels, Stepping Stones & Paving, Table Tops, Signage and Sculpture
A variety of mosaics suitable for outdoor conditions, using frost resistant materials.
From small mosaics on reclaimed roof slates, that can give a small fun detail to a dull corner, to house numbers onto the slate, my garden slate series includes flowers, birds and flamingoes - but should you want something specific, then let me know... I have done Jack Russell dogs, a cat and lots and lots of hearts too.
I also enjoy making tabletops, though usually these are for exhibitions or to commission (due to the size that they take in my workshop / display area). Generally they are floral, but not always... Made of vintage china and old floor tiles, they are suitable for outdoors and can take a bit of chilly weather, but best protect them over the winters.
Stepping Stones are great for brightening up a stone path, or breaking up a series of concrete slabs, or alternatively for propping against a wall for a bit of garden art. I also make little shrines, again for a wee corner of the garden - sculpture in the garden is always great fun!
Large wall mosaics can be made on a board, and so be easier to remove if required. Or I can make a mosaic direct on to a wall - by commission only. These are also great for school or community projects.
