This unique slate wall decoration features a mosaic of pink, white, and peach flowers which are adorned with word art from the upcycled mugs

The mosaic is suitable for outdoors, and even looks best in the rain as it brings out the colour of the slate. Great for grey weather in winter, as it brings a bit colour into life. It can also be displayed indoors though.

MATERIALS:
Petals: made from mugs with Scottish dialect definitions, Eccleshall Parish Church, the bases, Royal Dolton
Flower centre: fused glass cabochon made from random glass off-cuts and in reds and soft blues
Leaves and stem: wine bottle glass, hand cut to shape
Made on: a reclaimed slate place mat, the reverse side has a velvety fabric surface which is a bit scuffed, but has been cleaned
* CARE: •~ If hanging outdoors, ensure it is fixed to the wall so there is no banging or movement from the wind •~ To keep the mosaic looking at its best, rub in a touch of oil onto the slate to darken and make it gleam •~ Whilst suitable for outdoors, I cannot guarantee against severe frosts
